Academy Assassination
‘No, don’t be ridiculous! This kind of thing doesn’t happen in a school’

Frances Garnham, 24, arrives at the unorthodox Arrows Academy Primary as the new year one teaching assistant to work alongside the egocentric Caroline Macintosh, and after clashing with her on the first day, Frances doesn’t think the year could get any worse. But Frances was wrong…
The school is turned completely upside down when Caroline is found dead the following morning!
When old-fashioned Detective Barry Hughes is brought in to uncover the incident and rules it as unsuspicious, Frances gets investigating. Especially when she was the last person to see Caroline alive…
Whilst investigating, Frances encounters the different characters at the school and their motives, collecting clues along the way with a little help from police side kick Jonathan Birch, all the while having Detective Barry breathing down her neck as his main suspect!
Will Frances manage to crack the case, or will the academy assassination remain unsolved?

Occasionally along comes a really great book from a new author. Academy Assassination is one of those books. Great story, suspense, and relatable characters made this a must read for me. So looking forward to more super stories from the author Hannah Jones, don't keep us waiting too long.

Nice little read that has all the elements of an Agatha Christie who dunnit and a little twist at the end keeps you guessing!

A very unique story, it was an easy read that kept me captivated the entire time. I read it all in one sitting! I'm looking forward to any other books that follow.

There wasn't anything I disliked, and I particularly enjoyed the fact that the book took you in from page one, and you felt like you were in the school. I found the characters were very believable. Overall a very good book.

Charlotte
Great whodunit mystery with lots of twists and turns until the very end - looking forward to any more in the series!

This is the first this author has written and I really enjoyed it. There was just the right amount of information on the staff, each chapter flowed very easy to the next one. It was a lovely easy read and the one thing I really liked was the ending wasn't rushed where some books seem to do. For a first book the author should be very pleased how this lovely book turned out. I will be looking forward to reading any book Hannah writes. A thoroughly good read. Well done Hannah.
